The blues lesson: It was very ambitious! Quite cool squeezing so much history and create a timeline like that in just a few hours of blues lessons. We didn’t have much time to learn new steps but instead we learned to put a few moves in context and in a timeline. The amount of historical background in the dance lessons was novel to me and I really enjoyed it. Gave me inspiration to learn more.

All together this helped to memorize new stuff and to understand stuff I have learned before on a deeper level. You are very clear and legible in your approach. OMG you’re an amazing teacher! The introductory lesson was the best I’ve ever had for fusion, by breaking down how partners need to turn up their listening in order to successfully and safely fuse. A little about Flouer's teaching:
She has massive amounts of experience teaching regularly in local communities, at big festivals around the world, and working with the average person wanting to learn how to dance with their romantic partners.

She equally loves bringing new people into the world of partner dancing "just for fun", and pushing advanced dancers to excel further in their technique and artistry.

Because of her practice as an embodiment coach, Flouer is often interested in the bigger picture of what dance is doing for you in your life, how to apply the skills you learn through dance to the rest of your life, and feeling deeper into your body during the process. Dance is about what you feel, not only about how you look.

She is available for online and in-person workshops, personal lessons, and might just be game for whatever crazy scheme you're cooking up that involves connecting people together.

Flouer Evelyn is a dance instructor & Embodiment Coach from New York City, currently based out of Turin, Italy. She has been teaching blues seriously since 2010, has an MFA in dance and a background in contemporary, Latin Ballroom, ballet, and ice skating.
She has won plenty of Blues competitions, and of course performed & taught all over the world. But what's important is that in the classroom Flouer has a warm, encouraging personality. She is always pushing you just a little more, showing you a path to further success.

Fusion Dance: Event Instructor Bio

She has won plenty of partner dance competitions in various styles, and has performed & taught all over the globe.

In Fusion, Flouer brings her fascination of the movement and history of social dances to offer a variety of approaches.
